Special Projects partnered with 1x Technologies to revolutionize home robotics. We helped launch NEO Gamma, a groundbreaking home humanoid that redefined the category. We focused on creating a warm, approachable design language across all touchpoints - from physical appearance to digital interfaces - driving measurable market interest and adoption.
Our design approach emerged from domestic environment demands - crafting an experience that felt natural and comforting rather than industrial or mechanical. This human-centered strategy created a distinct brand identity connecting 1x's advanced engineering capabilities with an intuitive consumer experience.
Every element - from material choices to user flows - was carefully considered to reinforce NEO Gamma's position as a home companion rather than an industrial tool. The holistic design system spanned physical CMFs, visual storytelling, and cross-platform interactions, all working together to create a cohesive and welcoming presence.
